Educational Savings Accounts can help families pay for educational expenses using state scholarship and funding programs. Not every state offers this type of program, so we recommend you confirm your child’s eligibility for state funds below.
Arizona Empowerment Scholarship Account
Arizona’s ESA program is one of the most flexible programs in the nation. Parents are given the autonomy to choose what will best meets their child’s needs. State funds can be used to cover tuition, supplies, tutoring, and curricula.
Arkansas Education Freedom Account
The Arkansas Education Freedom Accounts (EFA) program is open to students from specific backgrounds, including those from the Succeed Scholarship Program, students with disabilities, foster care children, children experiencing homelessness, and children of military personnel, first responders, or law enforcement officers. Covered expenses include tuition and fees, curriculum, uniforms, technology, and more.
Florida’s Step Up For Students
Florida partners with Step Up For Students (SUFS) to manage scholarship opportunities, including those for homeschooled students. The Florida Personalized Education Program (PEP) is new an option under the Florida Tax Credit Scholarship. Parents direct the education of PEP students, and receive access to funds in an education savings account (ESA) for their homeschooled student. Parents first purchase their planner and and any lesson plans directly through Homeschool Planet. We then provide an itemized invoice to submit to the PEP for parent reimbursement.
New Hampshire Education Freedom Accounts
Parents whose children are not enrolled full-time in public school and qualify under income limits can use New Hampshire’s Education Freedom Accounts to fund their child’s homeschool expenses.
Wyoming Education Savings Account
The program allows eligible students to receive funding for various educational expenses, including private school tuition, curriculum, tutoring, extracurricular activities, and other approved education-related costs. Any child, age 4 – grade 12, not enrolled in public school, are eligible for state funds.
