Horizons Math
Seamlessly add your Horizons Math curriculum to your homeschool schedule with these lesson plans for use with your Homeschool Planet subscription. Understanding math concepts isn’t the easiest thing for some kids to “get”. Horizons Math Christian curriculum approaches math in an organized manner that gradually teaches primary math skills and algebraic concepts. The Horizons Math curriculum (a Cathy Duffy Top 102 pick) uses manipulatives, memorization, and drill so that children can easily apply their learned math skills to real-life situations.
Teaching math with all three of these methods – manipulatives, memorization, and drill – kids can truly understand concepts before moving to their next lesson. Your K-8 graders will be exposed to well-balanced math lessons from learning about numbers to complex functions.
Each Horizons Math curriculum lesson plan lays out the publisher’s recommended course of study in Homeschool Planet. The Premium versions also feature one-click access to a wealth of fun online activities, worksheets, and videos supplementing the concepts taught in each Horizons lesson.
