Changing an Email Address

Just like you may need to change your physical address, so may you need to change your email address. For directions on changing your account email see the directions below.

Changing the Primary Email Address of an Account

1. After logging into your planner, locate your name in your family list in the right-hand menu, click your icon and then select the “Edit (name)’s Profile” link at the top of that pop-up window.
2. When the new window opens, ensure you are on your “Basic Info” tab. Locate the “E-mail address” field and make the necessary change.
3. Scroll down to the bottom of the window and select the “Save and Close” option.

Alternatively, you can also change your email information from your account “Dashboard.” If you are not taken there directly after logging in and you are in your planner, you can reach your “Dashboard” by hovering over your account name in the far upper right corner of your planner and select “Account Info” from the drop-down. Once in your account dashboard, locate the “Account details” option in the right-hand menu and make your necessary changes. Be sure to select the “Save Changes” button on the bottom of the form.

After this, you will be good to go. The next time you log into your account you will need to use the new email address you selected.

An important thing to note is that you cannot change your email in one account to one that is already being used in a different or previous account. Each Homeschool Planet account must have a unique email associated with it.
